Since BNKJ’s inception over 50 years ago, we have been committed to diversity both in the professionals we hire and the clients we serve. In keeping with this commitment, we launched The BNKJ Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in 2014.
Feathers are traditionally symbolic of achieving higher goals and overcoming challenges, and that is why a feather is part of our WIN logo. It further signifies the Native American meaning, that another person is near to help guide and support you.
The mission and purpose of WIN is to promote, enhance and enrich the lives and careers of women at our firm and in our communities, by supporting and providing opportunities for our women inside and outside the office to be together, support and encourage each other, network, share information, acquire skills and develop rewarding relationships.
To further the mission of WIN, BNKJ hosts and supports events for women that educate, entertain and facilitate networking with other women professionals. Past events have included wine tastings, lunches and dinners with women-focused forums, lectures, fashion events, charitable sponsorships and movie nights, among others.
